Russia is deploying troops and weapons – including missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads – in its western exclave, Kaliningrad, at such a rate that the region is becoming one of the most militarized in Europe. Meanwhile, the Baltic countries and Poland are sounding the alarm and planning to increase their own military power. Interview for Radio Free Europe.
We recently completed the procurement process for a new air defense system. We chose (American – ed.) The system „Patriot”. So we think that our capabilities will increase over the next few years.
