Russian Ambassador to Belarus, Mikhail Babich has promised that the Russian troops will intervene in the event of military aggression against Belarus. The diplomat said at „Belarus-1” TV channel, commenting on the possible deployment of an American military base in Poland.
Warsaw does not see Belarus as an enemy, but rather Russia. Not as an enemy, but as a potential aggressor. But since Russia has deployed a radiolocation station and its planes at the air base in Baranavichy, Polish officers have noticed a potential threat – said Pawel Fleischer from the Institute for Forecating and International Studies.
